教学方式

我园採用自然情境教学法(Situation Action Approach),让幼儿“通过游戏的参与而学会通过日常的应用而习得”,依序從幼儿先能听(Listen),接着能自然反射的「說」(Speak),再進步到能閱「讀」(Read)及「寫」(Write)作。

带班老師与驻园的美国外教Sean課上課外將TPRTotal Physical Response, Daily Talk融入孩子的日常生活,培養孩子用英語交流的習慣和能力,效果是与兴趣班式的英語教学截然徊异的

 

The Learning Methodology

 

Through the practice of ‘Situation Action Approach’, Duke children learn English through playing games and acquire English skills through using English in daily life.  Children first ‘listen’, then ‘speak’, then ‘read’, and finally are able to ‘write’.

 

Content of the Duke Curriculum is material children encounter in their daily lives, material that is interesting.  It includes favorite English Nursery Rhymes, beautiful songs and interesting stories.  English activities are designed for children to carry out active communication.  During the games, they have fun, they experience success and gain confidence. 

 

Class teachers and Sean, our American teacher, use TPR (Total Physical Response) and Daily Talk during children’s everyday life in the Kindergarten.  It reinforces the habit and ability to communicate in English.  Its result is way better than learning in interest classes.
